A Mixed Bunch Birthday

I was in the mood to make a very simple card and this is what I came up with.  It is indeed very simple!!  I also got to play with my "Tasteful Trim" Sizzix die.  I bought this when it first came out and I never used it.  Don't ask me why I do the things I do!!  It would take a lifetime to answer that one!  LOL

For the base of my card I used a half sheet of Real Red (folded in half)  Then I took a piece of Whisper White and used the Dotted folder and ran part of it through the Big Shot.  I covered the area where the dots and plain paper meet with the Tasteful Trim piece that I did in Basic Black.

Then I stamped the words on.  Mine are from the "Curly Cute" set.  Next I stamped the flower on a scrap piece of card stock and punched it out.  I stamped the center on another piece of scrap card stock and punched it out.

I set the flower and the flower center in place using Dimensionals.  And that is it.  See, I told you it was very simple!
