I am knee deep in making shower invitations for my niece. Thank goodness I love her a lot!!! These cards are a lot more work than I thought they would be. But it's ok, I have a few weeks before I need to get them done so I can pick them up, work on them and set them aside as I please. I only have one finished. The one I first made to see what it would all look like. I know what you are thinking, "why didn't you notice all the work then?" Well, I had been working on it little by little not noticing how much work was going into it. I would do one part and like it and them move on to the next part and then it finally was all done and I was happy and I liked it. I did not look back to see all the work it would take to make 25 of them! Oh well. I've got all the paper cut and stamped now so there is no going back! I will show you that invitation when I get them all done.
So today was one of those "set them aside" days. I thought I would make the wedding card. I am not sure I like this card for them but I will hang on to it until I find something else, IF I find something else. But for now this is the card they are getting. I found it on Pinterest, Yolanda had it posted on one of her boards. The "Mr & Mrs came from the "All Holidays" set. It's retired but I kept it because of all the fun wording in it. The "congratulations" came from the "Family Reunion" set. The rest is just paper! It was easy enough. A nice break from the invitations. And now I'm off to work on some more of the invitation!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
