A dear friend of mine had surgery on Thursday and of course I was not on the ball. I should have made this card right away so that she would get it when she got home from the hospital. But no, I was forgetful and had a ton of other things on my mind. So tonight I thought I would make her a card and get it out in the mail tomorrow. The mail service is pretty fast so it shouldn't take more than a day or two to get to her. She should be coherent enough by then to read it!!! LOL
This card was very easy to make. I used marker for the image. I colored in all of the green leafy area with the Summer Starfruit marker and then I tapped the (Thumping Technique) Gumball Green color on. And then I added the Raspberry Ripple to the flower parts. All of these are the new in colors, including the papers.
I REALLY do like the Gumball Green color. I think i twill be a very fun color to play with come Christmas!
So now to get this card signed and ready for the mail tomorrow!
