I was looking at my stash of masculine cards and I realized how thin it is. So I thought I'd give one a try tonight. I don't have many masculine stamp sets, it's one of the things I wish Stampin' Up! would make more of.
I took out my Need for Speed set and saw that I had already used the car image. Hmmm, now what to do. I went on Split Coast Stampers to look for some samples. I saw the airplane and thought I would play with that image. I don't remember what the card I saw looked like, I just saw the plane and thought that would be the way I go. I head to my Wednesday Sketch Challenge printouts and found #199 to be perfect for the space I wanted the image to go. I textured the background with the Houndstooth embossing folder I had won! Yup, I won something. I wont a lot of fun somethings!!! It was great! Lucky me!!! I've been playing with some of the items I won and having lots of fun with them. Ok, back to the card. I textured the background and then did the layers. The plane is set in place using Dimensionals. The colors used here are Pacific Point and Whisper White. Very simple, very clean and very easy! And not to mention very masculine! Mission accomplished, a masculine card and done in under 20 minutes!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
