Today I am going to share with you a card that Jan V. made at the last technique class Terri had.
The theme of the card swap was to make a card using the technique from the prior month. One of Novembers techniques was stamping on velvet. If you click on the photo you can see the image a little better. It's really cute it's got two trees in the middle are two children on a bicycle. This adorable stamp is from the "take it to heart" stamp set from the new occasions Mini catalog.
This is such a pretty Valentine's Day card and it was so sweet of Jan to give me one!
You can find the velvet stamping technique here.
This is also one of those standup cards. They are very easy to make. You cut your card stock in half on the short side. Fold the carton half and then fold the top part of the card in half putting the edge toward the inside. Withhold the card up or open is the little heart set in place using a Dimensional. I love red white and black cards exclamation point this is such a pretty card, thank you Jan for letting me share it with everyone on my blog!
Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda
I have always loved the look of stamping on velvet but have never tried it, I think the time has come.
