I can't forget to do my New Year's Day Blog Candy!! I've been doing this for quite a few years now and it's like it's a tradition and you can't mess with traditions!!! LOL
I know this Blog Candy looks familiar. Well, it should. It was the Blog Candy I offered a little while back and the winner never claimed it. So I am offering it again along with other fun stamping things I have run across and gathered! I always do the New Year's Blog Candy up big. Just ask anyone who has won Blog Candy from me!
As usual you have to answer a question to win the Blog Candy!! I'll make it a simple one. What was your favorite Christmas gift this year?
Please answer to this post only. I will draw a name on my birthday, January 4th!!! Have fun with this! If you are signed up as anonymous on here, please add your first name after your comment to make it easier to announce the winner!
Thank you SO much and good luck,
Wanda
my favorite christmas present this year is the stamp making machine. i really wanted it because there are a bunch of us that get together and stamp and we never seem to have the saying that we need at the time we are stamping. so maybe now we can have the solution. if i can ever figure out how to use the program! thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. i'm a first time visitor and enjoyed viewing your blog. it will be on my list of stops now.
ReplyDeleteMy fav Christmas gift this year was a set of ink pad/ribbon spool organizers storage shelves from the Etsy shop organizemore, compliments of my DH.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Wanda! I got an engraved bracelet from my grandchildren that said We Grandma. Made me cry (happy tears). ~chris
ReplyDeleteHi, my favorite Christmas gift was having both my children spending the day with me, enjoying each others company, and just having a great time. Oh, and the gift card for a manicure and pedicure wasn't bad either, lol. thanks for sharing.

I got a wonderful hanging garden ball that uses solar and lights up at night. I made a clock for one of my sisters and she cried when she opened it. It was a big hit...which made it worth all the time put into it. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!! Hugs from Colorado, Judy
My best Christmas gift for 2011 was a make over for my kitchen.Love it.
ReplyDeleteAngel Hugs.....
My favorite and only Christmas present this year was being offered a job 2 days before Christmas. I've been unemployed for 18 months and things were really looking bleak. Depression had set in quite awhile ago. Everytime I was lucky enough to get an interview somewhere, I was told they received anywhere from 100-300 resumes for 1 position. I start my job on Tuesday. This is really a great start to the New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for chance at candy!

Hi Wanda, hope you had a Wonderful Christmas and received everything that you wanted. My favorite gift was Homemade Cookies and Money so I can buy the things Santa forgot to leave under the Tree. Thank you for the chance at the Blog Candy.
ReplyDeleteSpending time with family, especially my 89 year old Mother. So lucky, who knows how long she'll be with us.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas present this year was a necklace my daughter had made for me. It's one that I can mix with other ones everyday.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift was a metal bottle to put my wine corks in.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift this year was a pre-Christmas vacation with my husband. Last year he was in the hospital after an outpatient procedure went horribly wrong. This year he is healthy and having travel plans from the 10th to the 21st made me have everything done early, cards made, presents mailed, it was a very relaxing holiday.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
My favorite Christmas gift was having everyone home for our early Christmas. Hubby had total knee replacement on the 20th, and he is doing very well...another favorite Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Wanda. My favorite gift was a mani, pedi and massage package from my favorite spa. I reserve the special treatment of this spa for special occasions. The last time I had a mani and pedi from there was for my daughter's wedding in 2008. Thank you for offering blog candy. I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteoh my, i did not receive any stamping items this year. I however did some clearance shopping online and took care of that but my favorite gift was our new blue ray player from our 4 sons. They are getting their parents high tech. Of course our TV was too hold to hook it up so that led to a new TV!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift was the gift of all three sons, wives, significant others and grandchildren to be at our home at the same time on Christmas Eve. We've stopped giving real gifts because of the cost to some who can't afford to do so and simply enjoy each others company and some good food. Of course we do give the two granddaughters gifts as they are 7 and 5 and what is Christmas without watching that excitement.
ReplyDeleteThat's easy! Getting to watch my 3 year old grandson on FaceTime open his gifts on Christmas morning. They live in Texas and we don't so being able to "be there" with them was pretty nice. This was the first year he actually got into opening gifts.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas present this year is a family portrait. My daughters had a portrait taken of themselves, spouses and children. It is awesome!!Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. I so enjoy visiting your blog everyday...your work is great and so inspirational!
ReplyDeleteHi, Wanda! I got a new dress coat, some solar landscape lights, and best of all - my son got engaged! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift this year was my SU order--lots of paper, punches, & ribbon.
Thanks for the blog candy chance.
My favorite Christmas gift this year was a new wood laminate snap together floor in my den. Then my wonderful husband built me a huge cabinet for storing my Stampin' Up stamp sets. Thanks, and Happy New Year!!! Jan from Oklahoma
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas gift this year was a Parafin wax spa for feets and hand. This will be great for this coming year to relax the hands after a hard say of stamping.
ReplyDeleteAnn L
My favorite gift this Christmas didn't come wrapped in paper with a beautiful bow. It came via a phone call and was the news that my 5 year old granddaughter is healthy! She was diagnosed with Leukemia just after her 2nd birthday and completed treatment this past Feb. At her Dec. clinic visit her counts were all normal for the first time since her diagnosis. It will be 2021 before she can be pronounced cured but she's on her way!
ReplyDeleteLove those stamps! My favorite Christmas gift...the book light my hubby gave me! Now I can read while laying in bed while he is sleeping. And it's a great light...have two bulbs but you can shut one off. Now I'm back to ready again till way too late at night :) Happy New Year!

That's an easy one to answer. My favorite gift this year is a beautiful silver/black cross with crushed diamonds in it. It sparkles like crazy (kind of like glitter!!!) and was picked out by my husband and son. It is a very special gift.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite present this year came with the whole family sitting down and playing Scrabble until 1 am.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to spend time without the fighting and arguing.
Ahhhh!
My favorite Christmas gift was a gift card to a big box craft store. Thanks for the chance to win blog candy.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift this year was something my son made me. A beautiful charm bracelet with sea life on it and a cross. Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win!!! Happy New year and God Bless!
My favourite thing this year was being able to spend time with family members
ReplyDeleteBest gift anytime is having kids and grandkids all together -- and, of course, it's even more fun at Christmastime when we can share laughter over some of the more 'creative' (not in a crafting sort of way) stocking stuffers. For the seriously creative side, I got some fun paper packs for my cardmaking fixation.
ReplyDeleteGosh I got alot of favorite gifts but I think the most special one was the one from my hub. He bought me diamond earrings. What made it so special is he is always doing the same every year gift card and cash in envelopes on the tree. Not complaining but once in awhile its nice to be surprised. Happy New Year everyone!
ReplyDeleteHi-My best gift was spending time with family!! We live about 2 hours away and we get together 4 times a year. Hope everyone has a nice New Year! Happy Birthday! Hugs Kay
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday and New Year Wanda! My favorite gift was to have my family all together for Christmas. Nothing can ever beat that!
ReplyDeleteDonna
Favorite gift is always having kids & grandkids here but along with that I got tickets to Florida to visit my sister! There is a Santa Claus!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift this year was the Starbucks card I got from my son. The reason is because he has never bought me a gift for Christmas from his own money and on his own. He went out and got this card on his own and when he gave it to me I could just see how proud he was. Unfortunately I didn't get any craft stuff. So I had to go on and get some stampin up stuff for myself as my gift to myself.

Happy New Year and Happy Birthday Wanda!! My favorite Christmas present this year was my son whom I havent seen in 4 yrs.!!! He moved to California, (we are in CT), He drove across Country for 6 days. He didnt quite make it for Christmas day, but a few days after. He will be leaving the end of this week after his Birthday :( I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for a safe, healthy and happy New Year!!

Wanda,
ReplyDeleteMy son's birthday is the same day as yours!!
My favorite gift this year was a necklace from my husband. It is in the shape of a shield and has another shield over it that is a "cut out." The cutout is the outline of the shield with a cross through the center in pink. The shield has Jeremiah 29:11 inscribed in pink. To appreciate this gift fully you have to know the circumstances. My husband was "downsized" 2 years ago and has been unsuccessful in finding a job. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb 2011 and I have had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. My Mother passed away in June and we sent our oldest off to college in August. It has been a year full of a roller coaster of emotion but through it all I know God has plans for us and He will bring us through it all.
My favorite Christmas gift was the wall TV mount that DH is going to put on the wall for me. He was kind of against doing this, but I really want it so it is a very nice gift for me from him. LOL!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was that I had all of my children home first in 4 years that was the greatest gift I could have received!
ReplyDeleteDebbie G
