So, are you keeping up with the Wednesday Sketch Challenges? I probably miss one or two a year. I'm pretty good about doing them! I find them very fun and somewhat challenging. Doing these sketches had helped me conquer my dislike of square cards. Ok, I would still prefer to make a "normal" size card but a square card no longer makes me skip the sketch!
This was a fairly simple challenge so I added to it by using a stamp that I have found very few samples of! I was hoping to find some inspiration. But I really didn't. SO I decided to go with some fun colors and hope I could pull it all together that way and this is what I came up with.
The fun papers are from the Spice Cake pack. I LOVE that pack of papers. I even bought the download a while back too!
The base of the card color is from the new in-colors called Pool Party. It's one of my favorite colors in the pack. That and Wisteria Wonder!!!
The bird was stamped using Early Espresso as were the words. The words were from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. And that was all the stamping that was done on this card.
I used the Ribbon punch to do the #2 panel on the card and that was it. It's pretty basic and simple, plus I did manage to use the Vermillion stamp! I had even Googled Vermillion to see if I could find anything. I was amazed at what I didn't find!! LOL

If you have time I highly recommend you play with today's Sketch Challenge.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
