The Greeting Card Kids set is one I have gotten quite a bit of use out of and believe it or not, it is one of the few sets that I have used every image!!! I LOVE it when I do that!
This card is not an original. Not from me anyway. I found it on the net while I was blog surfing for some inspiration. I ran across this and it didn't inspire me, it sucked me in and I had to try to duplicate it! The original card was done by Rita at Rita's Creations. There are a few little differences. She used Blushing Bride card stock. I had cut out my card stock and then realized I didn't have the Blushing Bride decorative paper so I just switched to Pirouette Pink and I think it worked out just fine. She also used Early Espresso card stock and I used Basic Black. I used the black because I didn't read the materials list first but I like the black and pink together anyway! I also didn't have the large polka dot embossed background so I used the new snowflake folder. My ribbon is different too, I used 1/4" grosgrain and the brad is different. Other than those subtle little changes it's pretty much her card. When you go to her web site you will find a materials list to make this card.
It's such a sweet girly card and I think I may give it to my niece at Christmas! Isn't it just an adorable card?
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
