Don't you just love the look of this card? I do and that is why I just HAD to make it. The original idea came from a card that Kris from LNS (LateNightStampers) made. I just loved her card and wanted to play with this layout.
What I REALLY loved about this card is the lines at the bottom left on the card. They were made using the scoring board. I wasn't exactly sure how Kris had done it so I scored my lines on the front first and then turned it over and scored them from the backside so they would be raised on the front. I scored them after the front of the card was all decorated and the words were stamped in place.
My cute little house came from the "Spooky Bingo Bits" set. On Kris' card she had one of the new large buttons in that space. I don't have any of those buttons and I was ok with that when this set came to mind. The moon behind the house was done using a sponge dauber and the Daffodil Delight ink pad.
I want to play with this layout again but using Christmas colors. I think this would be a very pretty Christmas card. And I would get to use the "Jolly Bingo Bits" on it! A set I just LOVE. The images in it are just too darn cute!!
Kris, if you follow my blog, please give me a link to your blog so I can give you full credit for your card.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
