This is the sympathy card I made for Sue's family. It was tough to make this card.
I don't have the "Bliss" stamp set. I purchased the download and went into My Digital Studio and printed out the flourish image and the butterfly image. I chose Pretty in Pink for the color and I just hit "print" and viola, it printed it out on card stock. I cut the butterfly out by hand and I trimmed up the flourish image. I layered it on top of a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock after sponging the edges.
I had taken a piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through my Big Kick using the new "Tulips Border" embossing folder. I am SO loving that folder!!! I sponged the raised designs with Pretty in Pink ink.
The words came from the "Thoughts and Prayers" set. I punched it out with the large oval punch and sponged the edges with Pretty in Pink too. I set it in place with Dimensionals. The butterfly was also set in place with a Dimensionals. What was SO cool was that the Dimensional fit behind the butterfly like it was meant to be there. There was just enough room to set it in place and yet not have it show through on the other side!!
And as I look at the photo on here I can see that I forgot to add 3 tiny pearls down the center of the butterfly. SO you are going to have to imagine them. Close your eyes and picture those pretty pearls on the pink butterfly!! See them? Aren't they pretty? LOL
So there you have it. My sympathy card for Sue's family. I want to play with this image using it for a different card. One more uplifting. Though it is a perfect image for a sympathy card.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
