I screwed this post up. I think Blogger has a few bugs left to work on. I'm not a big fan of change and when the new change took place a few months back I was ready for it. The only problem I encounter is when I forget to add additional photos along with the first one. It seems that once you add a photo you are done. There is no going back and having the program upload another one. You have to do it all at once. Hopefully they will fix this soon.
Anyway, you can figure out the sketch layout by looking at the card. And you can also go to SplitCoastStamper's website and take a look at it there. I will see if I can try to post it later.
I wasn't able to do that so I had to redo the whole post. Bummer. But anyway, now you can see the original sketch. Isn't it cool?? I LOVE it and can see myself making other cards with it. I did flip the sketch for my card.
And onto my card. I had seen a lamp done using the "Aviary" set and the "Create a Cupcake" set. The bottom of the cupcake is stamped and then punched out with the cupcake punch and turned upside down to look like a lampshade. I thought it was a fun card to make too! The layers of my card are done in Always Artichoke. I used Whisper White in the #2 spot. The #3 panel is done using the Paisley Petals decorative paper. I added a piece of Always Artichoke to the stand and pearls to the stand bottom, lamp and the circles on the sides. The lampshade is put on using Dimensionals.
What a fun layout this was!!! I was surprised at how quickly the card went together. If you have time give this sketch a try.
Off to shovel. We are getting snow (again). I am a true lover of winter and snow but I am actually tired of it and am longing for spring. I want to open my windows and I don't want to shovel any more snow!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
