I found this card at Lucia's blog "Ink Me One More Time." It caught my eye because it was not only the pretty Pacific Point blue but it looked like it was a card I could whip up a lot in no time. These kinds of cards are great for when you want to give a box of cards to someone but you don't have a lot of time on your hands. It's pretty, it's elegant and it's quick to make. What more could you ask for? The paper used here along with the Pacific Point card stock is the "Summertime Vintage" decorative paper and a little piece of scrap Old Olive that was punched out with the Scalloped Border punch. The original card had glitter going up and down on that area. I opted for something with matching colors for that edge. I also LOVE the Polka Dot embossing folder I used on the Pacific Point. The original card was just plain. And there is nothing wrong with that, it did look nice plain too. I just thought it could use some texture in that area. And last but least the stamp set used here is the Sale-A-Bration set "Punch Bunch." It was stamped twice. The first time you stamp it you punch it out with the scallop punch. Then you stamp it again and punch out the center flower part. That piece was layered on a piece of punched out Pacific Point. The original card has that circle done in Bashful Blue. There I regret I didn't use that color instead. But all in all the card looks great and I was pleased with it when I was done. And seriously, if I didn't like the blue circle and wanted to add the Bashful Blue it wouldn't take long to do since this card is such a quick one to make! And what a versatile design this is too!!
