Is this tea box holder not the cutest thing you've ever seen? Oh, I'm sure you've seen cuter things and I probably have too but today this is the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!
This was a very fun project to do. I got the pattern for it at Sunny Stamping, Inc. You do have to subscribe to get the newsletter to get the pattern and instructions to make this. And there is a video too and I do suggest you watch it, it clears up any questions. This project is not listed for very long so if you don't get it soon it may not be there later. Click here to go there and sign up. This is where you will get the pattern. I don't have permission to give the pattern to you, sorry.
Edited 8-22-17: The link above is no longer available but I found some helpful information to make this here.

I LOVE this tea bag holder because it holds LOTS of tea bags. You just turn it upside down to refill it.
I was most amazed at how weighty it was once you got the sides done and the seam glued together. I did glue on all of my pieces except for the tea pot, tea cup and the pearls. The tea pot and tea cup are set in place with Dimensionals. The pearls are self-sticking. It's a little difficult to see in the photo but there are pearls coming from the tea pot to look like it's pouring into the cup. And what better set to use with this project than the "Morning Cup" set? Perfect, huh?

I LOVED making this and was totally impressed with it when I was finished. I kept saying, "It's SO cute!"
Go get the pattern and make one. It's very fun and it's SO cute!!! I'm thinking about making a few of these for the fall craft fair.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
Gorgeous! I got that email from Sunny Stampin and tucked it away as a project to try soon - gotta do it now! ~chris
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I watched the video last week and have been planning to make them for Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteI signed up on the site for the newsletter but they do not send you the current one it appears. You just get the next one when it comes out. The links and patterns are only available for 2 weeks and they are replaced with something new. Unless you already had signed up before, it looks like you can't get a copy. Bummer -- cause that is CUTE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI also just signed up and was very dissapointed to find out that I also will not be able to make it. It is TOO CUTE!! Thank you for all of your great posts.

Beau projet mais ou on peu avoir la vidéo
ReplyDeleteI've tried all day to find sunny stampin and the site is no longer available. Could anyone direct me where to go to find a template on how to make this beauty??
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!
Melanie
It appears that the Sunny Stamping site has shut down and along with it all the instructions for anything that has been linked to it. Sorry, I have no control of when people shut down their sites. I wish they would publish their instructions off site though. I think there is some type of tea holder on Split Coast Stampers. Check there or do a Google search for one. I know there was another one out there, it actually opened at the top. This one didn't, you had to slip your teas in from the bottom until it was full.
