Blossom Party Card

Today's card is a modified C.A.S.E. (copy and study everything) from somewhere on the net.  I don't remember where I found it but the original card is by Monika Davis.  Her card had a light green panel with a red panel on top of it.  Sharon, a wonderful friend and a fellow stamper bought the "Blossom Party" die and we played with it!  It was SO much fun and now I have to buy the die for myself!!!  Thank you Sharon for enabling me!!! LOL

To make this card we first stamped the "Medallion" on the white card stock using Daffodil Delight and then More Mustard inks.  The image was inked up first with the Daffodil Delight and then some More Mustard was sponged on.  Next the Rich Razzleberry panes was cut and the scalloped edge was added.  Then it was put in the Dotted Swiss embossing folder.  After that it was set in place on the card.

Then the Garden Green strip was added.  A piece of white grosgrain ribbon was added around it.  On top of that were three buttons from the "Sweet Buttons" sizzlet.  In the center of each button is a tiny pearl.

The flower was such a fun piece to add to this card.  It was cut out of Pacific Point card stock.  Then it was sprayed on using the Smooch pearl spray.  Once the pieces were dry they were scrunched up and then flattened back out.  The edges were curled a little with the edge of a scissors.  The leaves are done in Garden Green and were cut from the same "Blossom Party" die.  The flower was put together using a brad in the center and on top of the brad a pearl was set in place.

And the finishing touch was the little white branches from a Martha Stewart punch.

It's such a sweet and yet elegant card.  And it was very fun to make.  Though I wouldn't want to have to make a bunch of them, they were fun but not that fun!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
