Batty for You Halloween Card

This is another card from our last DIVA Day event. This card was made by Diane. I LOVE how she used the Spider Web embossing folder for the background.

The shin on it is from the "Smooch" spray. I bought them and used them a little and I had set them aside and totally forgot about them. I need to get them out where I can see them so I can play with them more. I do like effect it has on a card.

Ok, now for that adorable bat. It's from the "Batty for You" stamp set. It's a set I had on my wish list when it came out. I still like the set but I just can't get myself to buy it because I know it will retire on me and I'll be SO unhappy. I have a room full of retired stamp sets that I need to go through quicker and get them sold. This "Julie/Julia" thing is not working out very well for me! It's mostly because I have other things I'd rather be doing. But I need to take a serious look at the retired stamp situation here and start cleaning house. I need to make room for the sets I have on my ledge waiting to get cataloged and on the shelf. I want a magic wand for Christmas. One that REALLY works! LOL

Let's get back to Diane's fun card. I also like how she did the ribbon. It's hard to see but it's frayed on the one end. I think you can click on the photo to get a closer view!
