Halloween Test Tubes

I just thought it would be fun to play with these test tubes and you know what? It was VERY fun! I did have a bit of a problem trying to find a "spooky" looking font. I made these for the gals who attended "DIVA" day on Sunday. Click on the photo for a closer view.
The words were printed out on the computer using a full 8-1/2" x 11" label sheet. I punched them out using the new label punch.

I punched the bat out and used my gel pen to give him two little beady eyes!! I stuck him in place right on top of the knot using a glue dot.

There was not a lot to making these. I just filled them with some pretty blah looking M & M's. These were peanut M & M's. I wanted the "normal" size ones but they were all gone at the store. I think these were more of a fall color package than a Halloween one. But it still worked for the "theme."

These would be fun at a Make n Take or even a Stamp Camp item. You could use them at your kiddies Halloween party or for school treats though I think that has changed some since my child was in school. I think they lean more towards the healthier foods and peanuts may be out of the question. Don't know anymore!! But they can be filled with other candies or small age appropriate toys too. Use your imagination!

They were fun and easy to make! Get your hands on some and have some fun yourself!

Thank you for visiting today,
Wanda

  5. These are cute!! I've also been looking for an inexpensive source for the test tubes as when I make them, it will be for several. I've seen other cute ideas for these too.

    Hugs,
    Cathy
