Well, it's about time!! I have so many things going on that I forgot about the technique pages. This technique is SO much fun and SO simple too!
You just put some inkers on a baby wipe and swipe it across your card.
I had made this card a while back and I had set it aside and it got lost in my messy workroom.
The colors I used here are Ballet Blue, Pretty in Pink and YoYo Yellow. These colors can be replaced with Marina Mist, keep the Pretty in Pink and add the Daffodil Delight. Use Marina mist for the base of the card and it now has the current colors available from Stampin' Up!
The words are from the "Sincere Salutations" set (one of my favorite word sets!).
The flower is from the "Hello Again" set. I just stamped it in black on top of the "swipped" colors.
You must make sure the baby wipes are very moist so you get good coverage with it. You don't want them sopping wet but moist enough to show that they are wet when you wipe it (without the ink) across your skin.
I no longer show the actual technique pages here. You will get to see a group photo of them when they come available for sale. The page is still set up like the other 3 sets have been. Nothing has changed except for me showing the technique on a card instead of the technique page itself.
I thought this card turned out pretty cute. I do like the colors and I may try this technique again using current colors.
Thank you SO much for visiting,
Wanda
