This card is not what I started out making. I am just LOVING the "Every Little Bit" set with it's 28 fun images! There is a snowflake in the set and I thought I would play with some blue pieces of card stock and the snowflake. Well, the snowflake wasn't doing what I wanted it to and when I got it where I wanted I realized I needed ribbon but I don't have any new ribbons yet! SO I scrapped that idea (plus I think it's just a bit too early for winter cards).
Since I had the card base cut and folded along with the layers cut I thought I would play with the "Apple Blossoms" set (again!). It's such a cute set.
I stamped the flower image and cut it out. Why do I do that? I have no idea. It does look nice that way on the card but I don't know why I feel I have to cut these things out all the time!!!
SO after I got done cutting it out I set it aside and stamped the stem in Wild Wasabi. Then I used Dimensionals on the flower and set it in place on the stem. I wasn't sure what kind of card I was going to make. This card is great for many occasions. I used the "happy birthday" from Teeny Tiny Wishes. But it would make a wonderful get well card, a fun thank you card and even a sweet sympathy or thinking of you card. It's simple and clean looking. The Scallop Lace punch was used on the Marina Mist piece on the left. The card needed just a little something and since I didn't have any of the new ribbons I went with the punch and it worked!!
It is a fun card and a very quick one to make too! Even with the cutting!!

Wanda, this is Beautiful love the colors.
I love that you tell us how you fail, improvise and overcome when making your cards. Not many people admit it but I know I end up facing the same sort of problems. Love the out come. Simple, clean and beautiful.
Hugs & Blessings
