I can not even begin to tell you how fast it was to whip up this card. I was trying for something simple but yet elegant. I am SO loving the new Stampin' Up! "Well Scripted" set. It may just replace my "Sincere Salutations" set. I am wondering if Stampin' Up! will be keeping this one and retiring the "Sincere Salutations" one!!!! I really like the font on this set. Though I do like the font on the other one too. Though choice here!
Anyway, first of all I cut a piece of white card stock in half and then folded that half in half. I use the Stampin' Up! "Elegant Bouquet" embossing folder to get my pretty texture.
Then I took the stamp and the Real Red ink pad and stamped in the left corner. And that is all there is to this card. SO simple and SO quick. Don't you think it has an elegant look to it? If you need to make a lot of cards for almost any occasion, this is the way to go.
I was a bit surprised at the card when was done stamping on it. I thought I would have to add something more to it. You know how I am! If it doesn't have at least a dozen layers to it.... LOL And here I have no layers. So WAY out of my comfort zone. But I do like the card! Oh and very limited supplies here too! Gotta LOVE that!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

What a beautiful card here, Wanda. I don't know how to make just part of a card front with an embossed design. I have a Cuttlebug, but my folders make the design on the whole front.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the darling design idea.
