This is the card Leah made at the Thursday night Stamp Till You Cramp. I LOVE the colors she used here and of course the buttons!
The base of this card is made using Creamy Caramel. The decorative paper is from one of those large decorative DCVW Provo Craft paper packs. A
And those fabulous buttons were done using Stampin' Up! card stock and the Martha Stewart Button embossing/cutting punch. This punch will emboss the ridges and punch out the holes and circle. SO cute and SO much fun.
Leah left some of the cards blank so she could use them for other occasions as she needs them. This one was stamped with the new Stampin' Up! "Well Scripted" set. A favorite set of mine now!! Just too cute!!
If you don't have the Martha Stewart punch you can make faux buttons using two different size punches for the buttons. Lay the smaller one on top and then punch the button holes through both layers. Or you can just punch one circle and sponge the edges for an added dimension. Add the button holes and tie on some thread, jute, hemp or linen fibers. It will still be cute!
Thank you Leah for letting me share your card with everyone!!
And thank you all for visiting today,
Wanda

Oh those buttons are so cute! Lovely card!
Wanda, this is great. I have seen this punch now I see what is does LOVE IT! Love the fact you can get a button look and have a flat card. Great job!
Wanda, I did go out and buy 2 of those button punches - One for Peggy rather than flowers, which her cat might eat, and one for me. I also made 2 cards with the buttons so far. Thanks so much for the idea.
