This is a fun little jar project. I ran across this jar in the cupboard. Yup, I'm still digging in cupboards. Not too deeply though, I already did that this month!! This jar measures 2-1/2" tall by 2-1/2" in diameter at the bottom tapering to 2" across at the top.
I filled it with some fun Valentine's Day candy (anything red will do) and I tied a bow on it. Then I stamped some hearts from the new Stampin' Up! "I (Heart) Hearts" set. I punched them out using the "Heart to Heart" punch. I taped them in place on the little jar. I wanted to add a little something to the top of the jar so I punched a red circle scallop and a white 1-3/8" circle. I taped them together and added another heart on the top of that. I taped that in place on top of the jar. It was just what that space needed. This was a quick little project and now I'm off to find more jars! I have a bunch out in the garage (not like this one but from baby food, etc.) and I am going to have a bit of fun decorating them! Hubby will be glad when I clean out some of my overflow from the garage! I have stuff everywhere!!
These make a wonderful Teacher's gift, Hostess Appreciation gift, Customer Appreciation gift, Make n Takes, Craft Fair items and Stamp Camp items or any other event you can think of for this project!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
