This is the card I made for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge over at SplitCoastStampers. I was very happy that I had some time to play again!!! With Christmas just around the corner and a million things to do I REALLY needed to take time off and have some fun.
This sketch was a very challenging one for me. I knew I needed to make a wedding card so I found the stamp I wanted to use and ran with it. This is what I got!!!
It might be a little hard to see but I used the swirl stamp in the set on the dress and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Materials used here:
"To Have and to Hold" by Stampin' Up!
Lovely Lilac ink
Lovely Lilac card stock
White card stock
White embossing powder
Lovely Lilac marker
Heart Punch
Circle punch
White grosgrain ribbon
Embossing folder
Sponge
This was a pretty quick wedding card to do. It took me longer to figure out what stamp I wanted to use than it did to put it all together!
If you have time I highly recommend you play with the sketch. You don't need to download your card to SplitCoastStampers. You can just make it for yourself to enjoy! Just play along and have fun!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
