I ran across a "To Do" pad with a calendar attached to it that I bought a couple of months ago. I took the calendar off so I could "redo" it so it would fit better on my refrigerator.
At first I tried to use the "Top Note" die but it was too big for the space I wanted it to occupy. I ended up using a piece of chipboard and covering it with Orchid Opulance card stock. I used the lace punch and made a border for the top of the calendar. And then I just taped the calendar on using red line tape. The color of the calendar blended so well with the Orchid Opulance card stock, don't you think? Now just add a magnet strip to the back and it's ready for your steel metal surface.
Materials I used here are:
Calendar
Chipboard
Orchid Opulance card stock
Red Line tape
Magnet strip
These are very easy to make and would make a great gift. This would be fun project for Stamp Camp too!! This is something the kids could help out with and no big mess to deal with. Gotta LOVE that when it comes to kids and crafting!
