A friend of mine was not feeling well so I thought I would make her a get well card. It's NOT fun being sick but it is fun to get cards from those who care about you letting you know they are thinking of you.I made this card for my friend Sharon who is recovering from pneumonia, the poor thing. I am hoping that she is feeling better now. Maybe receiving the card cured her!!! LOL
This was a fun card to make and I REALLY do LOVE the Stampin' Up! "Fun & Fast Notes set." It covers quite a few occasions. I like sets that I can get a lot of use from.
I used the Pink Pirouette, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. I colored in the image with markers and added yellow brads to the center of the flowers. I added the strip of ribbon and tied on 3 bows. One just didn't seem to look quite right. Oh and I used the Bella Rose decorative paper. That design was such a soft subtle one that was perfect for a get well card!!!

ReplyDeleteYou're right! It is no fun being sick. We've been fighting this dumb virus for over a month now. That said, your get well card made me feel a little better just looking at it. I'm sure your friend will appreciate your artwork and your kind thoughts as well.
