Pin It On! Weekend Project

I borrowed this stamp a while ago and I forgot to write down what company made it to give them credit.

I stamped the image on a piece of Shrinky Dink using black Staz-on. Then I cut around the edges. I colored it in with a blender pen and chalks. Then I baked it. Now that is the fun part of this project. Not that coloring wasn't fun but coloring doesn't make the object shrink now does it?? LOL

When it was done shrinking I carefully picked it up and set it on my counter. I took a glass with a flat smooth bottom and pressed it onto the piece. I held it for about five seconds and then let it sit to cool.

Being careful not to touch the areas I colored I moved the piece to a place where I could pour on some Crystal Effects. Once the Crystal Effects dried I added a pin back and when the glue set the pin was ready to wear.

I have not played with Shrinky Dinks in a long time. They are SO much fun. It's amazing how much they shrink too!!!

These make great gifts and are a fun item to have at craft fairs!

Thank you SO much for stopping by,
Wanda
