You are just NOT going to believe this. I waned to make a quick card and I remember seeing some cards on Melissa's blog "Simply Pink" that looked like they would be quick to make. I think it took me longer to get the materials and cut the card stock than it did to stamp the two images and tape it all together.
Isn't it just a simply sweet Get Well card? The cards I make usually have a bit more detail to them but now and then I love it when I can make a quick card that is SO cute and sweet!!!
For this card I used Bashful Blue, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. I used Bashful Blue and Basic Black ink. I cut the card stock, stamped the images on and taped it all together in less than 10 minutes. Shocker, huh??? I'd have to say that is the quickest card I have ever made. This flower is from the Stampin' Up! "Touch of Nature" set and the wording is from the "Sincere Salutations" set. Both among my favorite sets. I LOVE it when I can use these sets.
The holiday weekend is upon us. I do plan on posting this weekend. I will be home. We are having some automotive issues (no, not the price of gas!!! Which by the way is $3.85 a gallon today) but the issues with the vehicle prevents me from going anywhere. Which I can deal with since there is SO much to do around the house. There's TONS of things left to put away from having the kitchen remodeled. It's great to see it all done but such a nightmare to live through. And there's lots of those unfinished projects around here that take less than an hour each to do but it's a matter of deciding to devote that time to those projects. SO staying at home will be just the thing I need to get these items done along with DH. I wonder if he knows what he's in for this weekend?? LOL He'll wish I would have left for the weekend!!! LOL And for those of you leaving, I hope you have a very fun, memorable and safe time. Please be sure to come back and check out all my posts you missed while you were gone!!!

**Grin** My what good taste you have! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI loved all of them because they are quick and cute!
Many Blessings,
M.
What a great classy card!
ReplyDeleteWait til your gas is 4.91 a gallon and it takes $100 to fill the tank - and you need 1.5 tanks of gas each week...ouch. No more extra stamps for me anymore :(
Simple, cute and easy. You can't beat those 3 for a card. Thanks for the share Wanda. And I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend and gets lots of cleaning up done. We are braving the gas prices and visiting our daughter in Ohio. Guess it will just be lots of holiday sale shopping for me. Shucks...and I had so much that needed done at home! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteSimple but yet so elegant!!
I love simple, Wanda, and this fits the bill! I think that's why people start stamping to begin with, to create something clean, simple & easy. TFS!

ReplyDeleteThis is great and quick. This card can be mass produced. I might have to try make a few with a different stamp set.
Good Work as Usual.
