They all can't be winners you know!!! I have made my share of UGLY cards and this one goes in that pile!I REALLY liked this layout and wanted to run with it. SO I made some background paper to go with the pink and chocolate. So far so good. I was liking what I saw. Then all of a sudden I didn't see ANYTHING anymore. I hit a brick wall with this one. I had no idea where I was going with it. I just sat here and stared at it. I ended up cutting out some flower images from the Stampin' Up! "One of a Kind" set. I was leaning towards that type of stamp since the background was Boho. I am SO not happy with this but I thought I'd share my failures with you too.
I will have a much prettier card tomorrow!!! LOL I PROMISE!!!

Okay.....stop being so hard on yourself. Because I actually like this....everything about it. The colours, the diagonal print, the large flowers and the brads. However....I do know what it's like to absolutely not like a card you've created....and then be told to not be so hard on myself. So, I just thought I'd pass that on. I do like your card. I hope you simply love your next creation. Joan

Its not ugly Wanda...just a little different. And some folks might really like the style. Love the background paper. By the way, I like the titles you come up with for your newsletters. They really make you want to look to see what you have been up to! LOL

Wanda, I bet when you come back in the morning, this card will look better to you! Actually, I think it's beautiful!!! I just used that Boho stamp yesterday and I am loving those little flowers!

ReplyDeleteWanda, I don't think this is ugly at all! The colors coordinate, the design is really nice and it's symmetrical, so pleasing to the eye. We are our own best critics...what you may think is trash is always someone else's treasure! Nice job!
