On Saturday at the wonderful Stamp Share there was also a card swap in 3 categories, child's card, wedding card and a card from the new mini catalog.
This was my entry for the child's card. I LOVE the "All in the Family" set. It's so cute and there is SO much you can do with it. I could sit and play with that set all day and I may just do that later this week.
I wanted to use the bright colors of card stock found in the Bold Brights family. It seems that when you think of kids and coloring you tend to think of the 8 pack of crayons. Well, I do anyway!!! The balloons were in the "Family Accessories" set. You can't have a kids birthday card without some colorful balloons!!! It took a while to cut out all those balloons (I needed a total of 16 cards) but it was worth it. And when I'm doing the assembling part of cards I usually have a movie on so I can watch it and work at the same time. That's my favorite type of multi-tasking!!! LOL There was a lot of parts to this card but it was SO worth it.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the words are from the "A Little Birdie Told Me" set. I thought they went well with the card plus they fit nicely in the circle.
Don't forget to enter in the blog candy drawing. Your name will be entered in a random drawing so you don't have to have the correct answer here. I will draw a name in the evening of Tuesday March 4th.
All products on this card are Stampin' Up! materials. Click here to find more cards and projects that are made entirely of Stampin' Up! materials.
