I may just redo the card here so I like the coloring and then I'll be bringing it to my new neighbor across the street. Then when spring comes they'll plant the seeds and think of me. And when they have to go out and weed the flowers on a hot steamy summer day they'll think of me. And then in the fall when they have to clean out the flower bed they will think of me!!! LOL Hopefully by then we'll have been chatting a bit when we are outside in the upcoming summer.
These flower pockets are fun to make. You can find the measurements on the other one I posted. Just click here. The white card stock is a bit shorter here because of the images on the wheel. Just adjust your card stock accordingly.
Thank you for stopping by,
Wanda

What a lovely idea, Wanda. If I were new to a neighborhood, I'd be so touched with this gift!
these seed packet cards are such a nice way to stay in touch with clients or long-distance friends! You really have some great ideas for things to make! I'm so glad I stumbled into this blog! TFS:)
I love this idea Wanda and the way you presented the seeds. Especially cute is all the ways they will think of you through the year! LOL I think you did a great job on the coloring. We are our own worst critics, aren't we.

What a beautiful card for a new neighbor. Very thoughtful & a great idea!! Chris
I like it Wanda! I think the coloring looks fine! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
I love your card, its so sweet, and I'm sure your neighbours will too! I have to look up your template to do that with the seeds! Luv it!
I took a class where we used pencil crayons... in case you wish to try... here is an idea. Just layer on more of the same pencil colour on ea. house, don't have to press hard or use the tip, angle your pencil, just cover very well in same direction, lots of crayon, until you have a thicker layer of pencil crayon, there will be more wax, take your blender stump and gently burnish (go over each stroke on each little house), the wax from all the crayon... makes it shiny. Just an idea since you were unsure of your pencil crayon houses. It is not time consuming.
