I had a few requests for the size punches used on this Candy Cane Santa, so here they are.
Cut your red card stock 3-3/4" long by 1-1/2" wide. Roll it around a pencil to get it to curl. Doing it around the candy cane can cause the cane to break. Do the same for the black strip (cut 1" long by 1-1/2" wide).

Using the 1-1/4" round punch a piece of pink for the face. And also for the hat. The hat piece you will be cutting in half.
For the beard you'll need to punch ten 1/2" circles plus one for the hat pom pom.
For the buttons punch three black 1/4" circles.
And for the eyes and nose you will use the 1/8" hand punch, cut 2 black and one in a rose color.
Tacky glue was used for the red and black strip. Use the photo to help you place the pieces. They were all attached using the glue.
As some have posted, they would be great for school gifts and package ties too. Pop one in the mail box for your mail carrier!!! Great little things to set on the desks of your co-workers!! LOTS of places to leave these to brighten someones day!!
Have fun making them!
