I actually used up a full sheet of decorative paper!!! Shocker! I am not having withdrawals either. I don't feel a desire to run out and purchase some more to replace it! And I'm thrilled I don't have any of that sheet just sitting around!
My sister-in-laws will be having a birthday next month. They are twins so it's easy to make cards for them. You design one and copy it!! How simple is that??? I will be making my cards for them either later tonight or tomorrow night. This card pictured I made for my mother-in-law to give to her daughters. DH came home the other night after visiting his mom and asked me if I would make a couple of birthday cards for his mom to give to his sisters. Well, sure I will. I only have 500 things going on at one time and what's one more???? LOL I LOVE making cards and taking a break from the "stuff" I've been doing around here to make a card was a welcome thing. I have several things yet to do tonight and maybe for a break I'll work on our cards to his sisters. Maybe after the new Split Coast sketch comes in the email???? *raises eyebrow!*
Here is one of the cards I made (the other one is just like it!!!) LOL The top part of the card is Groovy Guava and I used the "Polka Dot" background stamp and embossed the dots in white. The primary set I used is "Priceless." I just LOVE that set. And I also used "Circle of Friends" for the sentiment. I added some ribbon, brads and gems. If you click on the photo (you can do this with all my photos) you will see a larger image. Notice the glitter/shimmer on the dotted swirls? I got this fun fine line glitter pen called Gelly Roll. The glitter is ultra fine and when you use it on some colors it looks like gold and using it on other colors it looks like silver. It just seems to morph into gold or silver depending on which one you want it to look like. A VERY fun pen!!
SO, here's the birthday card and I'm sure they'll like them!
