I guess this card could be considered one of those versatile cards. I wanted to make a card from this set. I don't think I've ever used the set. I have a few of them like that and I want to use them before they retire!! I REALLY like this "Natural Beauty" set. It's a bit difficult to see but I used the "Rough Texture" jumbo wheel on the background. Not much of it is showing, which is a good thing because it got it a bit crooked. And that's ok too because after all, it is a handmade card! If you click on the photo you can see it enlarged. The words came with the stamp and I used the "Stamp-a-ma-jig" to line them up. I stamped them three times. I thought it made a nice background. I used a blender pen and Bravo Burgundy marker to color in the flowers and Certainly Celery and Garden Green markers for the leaves, stems and buds. I made a mask of the flowers and buds and then lightly sponged over the entire piece and of course the edges! I added a couple of black brads on the open corners. It just needed something there. To test the area I will punch out small dots and place them where I want brads or eyelets to go so I can visualize it better. I no more punched them out and set them in place and knew brads needed to go there. A fun card to make!
Thank you for checking in!
