Yup, because of all of you my blog went over the 10,000 hits mark this past weekend. So to commemorate the occasion I'm giving away this little red mail box (from Target) plus 8 bundles of ribbons! In your comment entry tell me what your favorite stamping technique is. Mine is very simple. I like sponging. It adds a lot to a card without taking a lot of time. And I don't just mean sponging the edges, this includes sponging on top of the card. Some cards need just a little something and that soft splash of color a sponge can add, in many cases does the trick! So, now it's your turn!

Lets see, my fave technique for the cards I make is probably......tearing. I love to tear the edges for the "Shabby Look"

I like the rock and roll technique - it is great for flowered stamps!
Although I don't do it a lot, my favorite technique is paper piecing. Great give-away! My Target doesn't have these cute little mailboxes.

My favourite technique is watercolouring, I just love it, I love it so much I have just ordered some Prismacolour pencils, won't be telling my husband that though, and will be going to my local art shop to see if I can find the equivalent to Gamsol!!!

Well I think one of my favorites at the moment would just be using versamark. I love the watermark look.
My favorite technique is coloring with Prismacolor pencils. Love the results!
My favourite thing to do on cards is simply layering.... adding punches of colour with different layers of papers.
ohhh nice blog candy! My favorite technique is dtp... rubbing ink directly along the edge of the card stock. I do this on pretty well every card I make. It's a quick easy way to add a bit of a border.
Seems like I can't make a card now without having some kind of background image stamped on the base layer. :) Not sure if that's a technique or not...
Do I have to pick just one?? :-) I'd have to say that my most recent favorite technique, if this can be considered a real technique, is doodling! Like sponging, doodling a squiggly line around the edges of a main image really does add that little something extra without going overboard. I love it!

For stamping, I'd say my favorite technique is to use versamark. Love using it for a watermark effect.
For cardmaking in general, I love the slider dies I just bought for my Cuttlebug.

I LOVE sponging too! It adds so much depth to an image or card! I also love doodling right now. Just getting used to doing that but when you get it right, it looks awesome!!!

Hmmm...like you, i love to sponge edges for contrast. but then also, i love using dimensionals to make different layers and making things "POP"!
I recently did a card using josephs coat and absolutley loved it. I am also really into tearing most of my cards are torn. the plus side of this my daughter loves to help me:)
Right now my favorite anything is either to distress with ink or to glitter stuff up. My daughter says I do those too much and my niece asks me if I like to do those things-and when I say yes, she smiles and nods her head. She is 10 and loves to stamp and create and I always get her opinion. If something is ugly, she tells me honestly. I hope she never changes!

Mine has to be KISSING...and it's Valentines Day so why not. It's a technique I've just recently really learned the knack for.
I have recently come to appreciate sponging more, but my favorite technique has to be 2-step stamping! It's such a quick easy way to get a multicolored image that looks awesome!

It's way too hard to pick one favorite but the one I always come back to is DTP. I can't help but ink the edges on most of my projects. You know you've got a problem when your 4 year old daughter is dragging her cards through the ink pad just like mommy!

I love the cuttlebug now for embossing and I love layering and any embellishments, but especially ribbons and brads. I am a ribbon-aholic and can't tell you how much I have. I think I have to hoard it instead of using it. Love your blog.

Hmmm...tough question. Although I do love watercoloring I pretty much stink at it in my opinion. lol I also am loving just the simple one layer cards I'm seeing everywhere now...especially on my fabriano notecards!

So many techniques and I can only pick one. Hmmm...that would have to be Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Although, I love using my Sukura stardust gel pen whenever I get the chance too!

My first and favorite technique is putting ink on paper using stamps. I know you didn't want to hear that, but stamping is nothing without putting ink on paper.
Right now my favorite technique is Polished Stone. I was afraid of this technique for a long time. It looked too hard. I tried it and the rest is history. You can make so many wonderful combinations!
My favourite technique at the moment is using Versemark on Glossy paper and then brushing pastel chalk with a cotton ball. I love adding the different colours to get the mesh!
