I wanted to give a friend BIG cookie but I wasn't sure how I wanted to pack it. I was planning on baking some cookies and I got the idea to use the container the Lemon Peel came in. I am one who rarely throws anything away. And see why I don't?? It comes in handy someday!!!! I made a batch of Monster Cookies and I made sure I made a big one to fit inside the container. One thing nice about Monster Cookies is you can work with them while they are still hot. I wasn't happy with the shape so while it was still hot on the cookie sheet I pushed the edges in to form a more perfect circle. I removed it from the cookie sheet and let it cool. While it was cooling I wanted to make a nice top for the cover. I had some Christmas cards left (totally CASE'd from Splitcoast!) and I took out my Coluzzle and cut the circle to fit the lid. First I printed out the recipe in the lower section of the card stock. I folded the card stock in half and I took the Coluzzle and moved it up just a bit so it didn't cut a complete circle. I wanted to make a flap so the recipe could be on the inside and the leftover card on the top. It only took two tries and I got it! And this is the results! Now had I not been in a hurry to get it done I would have decorated the inside a bit. A little sponging on the edges would add a lot plus a small item rubber stamped might have given that bottom area a little finesse! But for a quick item it turned out ok!
